Mr. & Mrs. Smith Series
posted by Chris

Apparently, ABC has greenlit production on "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," a small-screen take on the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie feature, reports Variety. The project is eyed as a fall 2007 contender. The happy couple will supposedly be a modern-day take on "Married with Children". This one doesn't sound like a winner, but I've been wrong about other shows so who knows...

Facebook = Myspace?
posted by Chris

By now you've all heard the news: Facebook is opening up to the masses. After accusations of being "elitist," the popular site is now going to let anyone have an account. People, fight this one. Facebook was designed for college students. Keeping the site pure isn't elitist, it's just what Facebook is. First the news feeds, now this. I think our buddy Mark has taken up his old habits of sniffing markers and breathing into plastic bags...

Terminator - The TV Series?

David Nutter is set to direct the pilot for "The Sarah Connor Chronicles," a series based on the year between T2 and T3. Fox Broadcasting has officially green-lighted the project. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see this working. How many terminators did the future send back to kill this woman, anyway?

Halo Gets a Director (Finally!)
posted by Chris

It's been announced that the director for the Halo movie will be Neill Blomkamp. This will be Neill's first feature-length movie, but he's quite well know for his work with short films and commercial advertising. The film is also being produced by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh. If this movie is even half as good as "Lord of the Halo", then it'll be worth the wait!

WOW Players Addicted

Dr. Maressa Orzack is a clinical psychologist, founder/coordinator of Computer Addiction Services at McLean Hospital in Newton, MA, and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. He's just come to conclusion that World of Warcraft may, to some people, be addictive. Well, let's see... the game's been out for 20 months... 20 months times $15 per month is approx. $300... times over 5 million users... so say $1.5 billion has been spent on the game. Sounds like an addicitive substance to me, Doc.

ATI is Being Assimilated

By now you all know about the AMD takeover of ATI. That's been predicted for a while... the real news is that the ATI brand name is on its way out. All future products will be under the AMD brandname. While I've always been an AMD-ATI man myself. I'm worried that this merger will only hurt them in the long run against their nemesis, nVidia-Intel.

Wow... summer's been busy. I've got a new site up, and that's been taking up most of my time. But when I stumbled back to SadronMeldir.com, I was suprised to find it alive and kickin'! It's actually getting dozens of hits a day. So here's how it goes: I give my solemn pledge to reinstill life into this site. Just you wait and see...
